I never thought that it would happen to us , but once we found out about Cavaliers we were smitten. I can't honestly say that there is a better breed of dog.
We have been breeding and showing Cavalier King Charles Spaniels since 2000, We now live out in the country where the dogs have lots of room to run and have fun, bark at the sheep and squirrels. None of our dogs are kenneled ,they live in the home with us and most of them sleep in the bed. Richard and I were both brought up in show dog homes, he worked with field trial German short hairs and my family raised and exhibited English Setters. Our breeding plan is to produce exceptional Cavaliers for the show ring while striving to produce the healthiest dogs we can. All of our breeding dogs are tested annually for hearts, bi annually for eyes. Our last heart check which was in August every one was checked by the Cardiologist and they were all fine, four generations of Always Cavaliers and heart clear
We are located in South Central Minnesota in Claremont which is just west of Rochester, but will be moving to Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska in the Spring of 2010
